About me

Hello!

I’m a Korean American poet currently residing in Washington, D.C. I was born in Seoul and grew up in Northern Virginia. I went to school in Baltimore at Johns Hopkins where I studied both creative writing and film and media studies. After graduating, I moved to Charlottesville to pursue an MFA in poetry at the University of Virginia. Currently, I am writing my first collection of poems.

In my free time, I watch movies, cook, eat, and take photos on my Minolta or my Ricoh GRII. I took all the photos featured on this site, with the exception of the photos of me above, which are credited in their respective captions.
